10th of August The day before the Parade
The Idea Parade, the travelling cultural circus, will be making an exploratory trip to Eindhoven. The kickoff is tomorrow afternoon, with a Parade through the city of Eindhoven. A colourful procession of musicians, donkeys and fire-eaters will depart from Het Stroomhuis (the power house) at Eindje 1 at 5.30 p.m. and will eventually arrive at our table. After that, it is time for eating, watching, feeling, doing and dancing (in silence if you like) in tents, indoors, outdoors, on the street, under a canvas covering or in the mud: whatever you want. Since the Idea Parade is an idea of the people who came up with the Parade, you are bound to have a good time.
