April 25th 2011 The world of Tom Claassen
This exhibition was no easy task to organise. We finally managed to determine a date for the opening - 1 May - and select the work to be displayed, only to discover that the wooden men had been sold. Should we make our own then? But how many? Tom’s response: 2 trams. Communicating with Tom Claassen is as interesting as his work. It’s like something out of another world. And that’s a good thing, because our ‘normal’ world is starting to show a few cracks.
